Pastors Floyd and Tomika Preston grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, met in high school and married in 1993. They moved to Colorado Springs and have been in ministry since 1994. God has used them in many capacities to serve in His Kingdom as they have been influenced by ministry from around the world. Pastors Floyd and Tomika have served in youth ministry, marriage ministry, and eldership. In years 2004 to 2012, they served in associate/executive pastor roles at The Gathering Place Christian Center. Pastor Floyd is also the Program Director for Lutheran Family Services providing services for refugees from around the world. In February 2012, they accepted the roles as senior pastors and have since founded Crossroads Christian Center. They have three children: Mikhail, Micah and Mylon. Pastors Floyd and Tomika are committed to building the kingdom of God one soul at time.
Carole is a native Texan and has lived in Colorado Springs since 2006. She is a mother of two sons, Christopher and Rashad. Carole has served in various ministries such as Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
In 2006 God moved her to Colorado Springs to care for her mother. She joined the Gathering Place Christian Center and planted roots, serving in various capacities. Carole served as an intercessor for prayer and praying for others at the church food pantry. Expanding her gift for teaching, she taught children and facilitated the New Members class for adults. Her heart is for the underserved. She started feeding families monthly meals at the R.J. Montgomery Center (Salvation Army Shelter) for several years. Carole received her ordination as minister in 2010.
In 2012 the ministry changed to Crossroads Christian Center under the pastorship of Floyd and Tomika Preston. Carole continues to serve in various positions. She directs Outreach, Children’s, and Dance Ministries. During this time God has deepen her love for His Word and His people. Carole is currently the Associate Pastor at Crossroads Christian Center.
